SVG Viewer
Edit SVG code beside a preview, check colors, dimensions, and placement, then download the SVG.
Overview
SVG Viewer puts an SVG code editor and a visual preview on the same page. Paste your own SVG, change its attributes, and compare the resulting shape.
The official tool page provides the editor, preview, and “Download SVG” button. We completed basic editing and downloading in a browser without signing in. This entry does not treat the other features as tested.
Why it is useful
You can check an SVG’s color or coordinates without first adding it to a full project. Starting with a small example also makes it easier to see which attribute changed the result.
Good fit for
Frontend developers adjusting icons, designers checking SVG artwork, and anyone learning how SVG code maps to a shape.
Try it when
We pasted the SVG below: a 120 × 120 canvas with a red rectangle starting at (10, 10), measuring 100 in both directions.
<svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" width="120" height="120" viewBox="0 0 120 120">
<rect x="10" y="10" width="100" height="100" fill="#ff0000"/>
</svg>
Changing fill="#ff0000" to fill="#0000ff" turned the preview rectangle from red to blue. We then selected “Download SVG” and confirmed that the file preserved the blue fill, rectangle coordinates, and 120 × 120 dimensions.
Before using it
Keep the original SVG and check the edited result in its intended page or design tool. We did not test optimization, AI editing, sharing, file uploads, or other output conversions, and did not audit data transmission. Handle confidential artwork according to your organization’s rules.
