SQLBolt
Learn SQL through short lessons and interactive browser exercises, with table results shown after each query.
What it is
SQLBolt is an interactive SQL tutorial. It starts with SQL and relational database basics, then splits the syntax into short explanations and exercises. Its introduction says later lessons also cover altering schemas and creating tables.
Why it is selected
After reading a concept, you can edit a query on the same page and compare the table results with the task status. The immediate feedback makes it useful for running a SELECT query instead of only memorizing an example.
Who it suits
Students and developers learning SQL, plus anyone who wants short exercises for reviewing basic queries.
Useful for
- Starting with SELECT and practicing how to return specific columns
- Editing queries against a sample table and checking the result immediately
Usage note
In this review, the first lesson was tested with its Movies sample table. Replacing the default query with SELECT title FROM movies; produced a single Title column and marked the first task as complete. Later lessons, reference topics, and progress persistence were not tested.
