Omatsuri
Use frontend utilities for color shades, CSS gradients, SVG compression, encoding, and related tasks in one browser app.
What it is
Omatsuri is an open-source collection of frontend tools. It includes color shade and CSS gradient generators, SVG compression, SVG-to-JSX conversion, Base64 encoding, and related utilities.
Why it is selected
When you need to generate styles or convert an asset, the shared interface makes it easy to switch tools without searching for a separate site each time.
Who it suits
Design engineers and frontend developers who regularly work with CSS, SVG, and frontend assets.
Useful for
- Generating lighter and darker shades of a color or a CSS gradient
- Compressing SVG files or converting SVG markup to JSX
Usage note
In this review, entering #FF5A5F in the color shades generator immediately produced a set of lighter and darker HEX values. The official project also lists gradient, SVG, Base64, fake data, and keyboard event code tools; those were not tested individually.
