Fonts In Use
A searchable archive of typefaces in books, identities, interfaces, and published work.
Overview
Fonts In Use records typography in real projects. Browse entries by typeface, topic, tag, or the people and organizations involved.
Why it is here
A type specimen shows letterforms. This archive shows what those letters do in a real layout, which helps when a project needs type for a particular medium or mood.
Good fit for
Designers, art directors, type enthusiasts, and students studying applied typography.
Try it when
- Seeing a typeface used on packaging or editorial layouts
- Researching typography references by topic
- Gathering visual references for a type direction
Before you choose
Search by typeface, format, industry, or period to see type in context. Use the archive to compare choices, then check the font provider’s license before using a typeface in your project.
