What it does
The Directory project provides the ApacheDS directory server and related tools, covering LDAP, Kerberos, and directory-management functionality for applications and administrators working with hierarchical identity and organizational data through supported directory-service interfaces and protocols.

When integrating an organizational directory, use schema and administration-tool guides to understand the data tree, search conditions, and protocol settings required by the connected application.
