What it is

Animista is a CSS animation library and preview tool. Choose an animation, adjust its duration, easing, delay, iteration count, or direction, then generate the CSS.

Why it is selected

You can compare scaling, entrance, or text effects before writing keyframes, then bring the selected animation into your project.

Who it suits

Frontend developers and design engineers adding entrance effects or small interactions to web interfaces.

Useful for

  • Comparing the rhythm of an animation at different durations
  • Getting the CSS class and keyframes for one effect

Usage note

In a desktop browser, this review selected scale-up-center and changed its duration to 0.8s. The generated class used that duration, alongside keyframes scaling from scale(0.5) to scale(1). Test the result in your own layout and account for users who prefer reduced motion before shipping it.

Favorites, bulk downloads, and compatibility with older browsers were not tested.
